I am hard-pressed to pick a favorite animal–there are so many tasty ones–but if I must choose one, I believe I would probably choose the chicken. There are so many different ways to enjoy chicken: you can roast them until their skin is golden-brown and crispy, you can barbecue them with your favorite sauce (I prefer to leave the skin on and liberally apply a sweet, smoky sauce), you can bread and fry the various parts of the bird, and don’t even get me started about the eggs–I love a good fried egg. Plus–and this blows my mind–you can take a savory chicken salad to the next level with the addition of a crumbled hard-boiled egg. Think about it.β
